Hello, My name is Emily, and I am an event and festival photographer residing in Southern Indiana, I have been blessed with the opportunity to photograph many great events such as Ride For A Cure, Paul Lamb Memorial Benefit Ride, Crothersville RWB Festival, Austin Fireworks Festival, Austin Firemans Festival, Leota Frolic, and many more! Capturing candid's, special moments, and using my camera to tell a story is what you can expect when you hire me!

Artist Statement:

I enjoy using my imagination to come up with unique ideas for my art. I feel it is important for every artist to be creative and think outside the box for concepts and ideas. I have realized that I as a photographer have the ability to tell a story through my lens. Photography has become my chosen art form and is my ways of creating concepts and ideas to tell a story. In this series, my art expresses fairytales that I have made up using collaging processes, adding textures, and the use of smoke and fog. When viewing my artwork, you will notice that I use color palettes to set the overall tone of the photograph. In the work I prefer concepts that focus on storytelling, drama, and mood. The stories I’m trying to tell are about fear, self consciousness, and the fight to gain control over negative feelings. For instance, I use green and blue to invoke horror and suspenseful emotions, and black and white to express vulnerability and remorse. When viewing my artwork, I want the viewer to have a chance to escape real life and enter into someone

else's world.
